  • Debenhams
DebenhamsFor over 200 years Debenhams has been the staple of British high-street fashion. The quintessential department store offers a plethora of brands across beauty, fashion and homeware. Sadly over time and with the rise of online retail, the act of shopping has gradually become more transactional and lacking any delight. Debenhams came to us for a brand repositioning to echo the changes that are taking place internally and with the aim of bringing joy and excitement back into the shopping experienc

Production Coordinator and Camera AssistantIrgendwas Mit Medien
     - Essen, GermanyFull Time
Whilst working at the Irgendwas Mit Medien in Essen, I improved the skills that I learnt whilst as university and put them into practice in the real world. I was a production coordinator, where I had to organise pre production tasks and liaise with clients as well as sort out equipment. This included administrative tasks, paper work, researching locations and studios as well as contacting them. Also whilst on production, I was second camera or behind the scenes camera, where I used a Sony a7s on a Gimble to create easy smooth shots. Once the production was finished, next I would work on the post production task of editing the content to have it done to then be handed to the colour grader and graphic designer. I used Final Cut Pro X to edit the films, efficiently and professionally so that the client had their final product be presented to them in a timely fashion and of the best quality. I also had my own client that I and a work colleague would regularly film for. Such as their work shops and events, to post on Facebook. Naturally as I was working in Germany, I improved my skills in speaking and writing the language due to me having to work in the language itself.

Master of Arts Distinction in Creative Digital Film ProductionUniversity of Bedfordshire
     - Luton, United Kingdom
Due to the fact that I received a First Class Degree in my undergraduate study, I was awarded with the Jubilee Scholarship to pursue further education. My masters course is very specific to film and focuses a lot more on production techniques, post production techniques and on specific theories in film. The course so far has been very interesting and I have a lot of work to show for it. I am currently producing a short documentary for my final project which will explore, politics, sexuality and identity. Also, worked for the University's production company as a Director, Producer and Secretary.

Bachelor of Arts ( First Class Honours) Film ProductionUniversity of Bedfordshire
     - Luton, United Kingdom
Whilst at university, I have practiced and participated in many hands-on practical assignments, which include making short fiction films and documentaries. Not only this, I also had a lot of written work and theory to research behind film as a whole, the origins, the development and then the artistry. During this time, I found myself enjoying writing so much that I began writing reviews on films, specifically horror films. As an undergraduate, I also took part in societies such as Radio LaB as a DJ and was part of the Singing and Acting society. Radio is a huge hobby of mine as it ties in with my love for music and the acting society helped with my confidence, by performing in front of a large audience.
