Gerard commenced working under 20th Century Fox Australia which was acquired by the Walt Disney Company in 2019. Primary remit within Disney for managing its key partnerships and acquisitions including Telstra Exchange streamlining partnership, 20C Fox portfolio acquired by Disney as a fully owned subsidiary, Amazon Prime streaming partnership and other relationships in the region. Managing strategic alliances, key partnerships, corporate acquisitions, engaging new channels to market, and ensuring year on year revenue growth targets are met. Key focus is in the Disney- Telstra Exchange partnership managing Disney’s content related business in Technology for content streaming, cinematic, television, music, multi-media, and other access platforms. Wider responsibility for Government and Corporate Relations, the Cinema Networks, Television Networks, and web-based networks including Amazon Prime whilst managing the key Disney / Telstra Exchange divisional partnership including its complex Telstra TV technology partnership.
