Giacomo Garziano - 28/12/1981 - Altamura (IT)
Fascinated by science and music composition since a young age, Giacomo Garziano trained first as musician then architect in Florence and Paris.
Giacomo founded GG-loop 2014 in Amsterdam, with the goal to generate novel, organic approaches to design and architecture.
His first project, the multi-awarded polyhedral House-Museum "The Seed of Time" (Altamura, IT), merging music, science and art, brought the practice to international recognition.
His eclectic approach creates multi-sensory experiences, his objects becoming an organic extension of the user, lifting the boundaries between the human and its surrounding.

Inspireli Awards - WINNERInspireli
Giacomo Garziano received the prize Inspireli Awards as the brightest new talent of the up and coming generation. A professional jury of 55 skilled architects from 39 countries selected Giacomo in a closed competition among more than 1000 other contestants from 99 countries.
The ceremony was attended by Czech minister of Culture Daniel Herman and a member of parliament Karel Schwarzenberg, but also by ambassadors of various countries in Czech Republic. Many prestigious architects also attended and among them were the chairman of the jury Otto Dvořák, Jürgen H. Mayer from Germany, Claudien Mulimilwam from Congo, Gan Pei from China, Martin Dusasko from Australia, Michal Postránecký from USA, Francois Valentiny Luxemburg, Petr Kolář from Czech Republic, Juraj Hermann from Slovakia, Budi Pradono from Indonesia, Giancarlo Alhadeff from Italy, Alexandrin Buraga from Moldavia, Tamara Panchenko from Ukraine and Jerzy Chrochulski from UIA. The ceremony took place on the first anniversary of the death of Bořek Šípek, who was with Václav Havel the creator of the whole idea of the international competition for young architects and the first chairman of the jury of the INSPIRELI AWARDS 2015.
