Designing highly commercial footwear for over twenty different brands including Kurt Geiger, Topshop, ASOS and Dune London. Producing intuitive and original trend forecasts with the customer in the centre of the design thinking. In depth independant research to aid personal designs for the Eternal Best range within London and far east showrooms as well as designs for internal brand, Shelly’s.
Travelling for research and client meetings to Garda Footwear Expo, China and Hong Kong. Managing the development of the collections of footwear alongside buyers and account managers while in the factories, beginning from initial sketch, specification to shoe sample. Producing highly technical specifications and CAD renderings for clients and for factory use. Hand-sketching design ideas within meetings and independantly to produce packs for client use.
Working with Buyers to realise footwear which has gone on to realisation and inclusion within ranges for stores. Overseeing the production of my own designs within the far east factory.

During my year at Kurt Geiger, several of my designs went into production and one of my designs was celebrity endorsed.

Fullwidth of skillsets acheived: Design, Pattern cutting, Laser cutting, 3D printing, hand sewing, embroidery, Fashion Sociology.
Awarded the Kurt Geiger Scholarship and Paid Placement within the second year at Cordwainers. Shortlisted for the BFC Armani competition as well as the Charlotte Olympia Scholarship within the first year at Cordwainers. Shortlisted for the Jimmy Choo Dato award in 2018.
