I'm Gionatan Scali,
I am a creative mentor and I’m the Ceo & Founder of this young brand called Mentoring for Creatives which is a neurodiverse business. Mentoring 4 Creatives advocates a different perspective of thinking and learning within the creative realm. It reflects my own way of approaching creativity as being an artist myself, and from the work done so far with my clients it has been recognised it as helpful.
Currently I'm working as a mentor in the creative industry, and the field of my expertise is regarding the creative process. I’m operating in music, film, design and art direction.
I've been working on this concept of Mentoring for Creatives since 2019 , when I completed and took my certification and won a bursary as a mentor at SCREENSKILLS (BFI LONDON) in 2020.
In my professional life, I have always had the option to forge my own route rather than pursuing conventional positions and careers that lead me where I am now. I've employed my organizing skills in the arts by mentoring creatives, but I've also worked as a musician, and screenwriter on many film projects, and I am still doing it today. I'm the founder of Folked up night est. Feb 2016 in East London, we had over150 artists from Music , Spoken Words and Fine Arts, and we made 33 editions in 3 years of activity.
The creative industry and the encouragement of artistic endeavors had an impact on both my past and present.
Nowadays I'm based in east London in Hackney, a good place to live for creatives, to grow-up and catch new opportunities.
