About me
Giorgia is a dynamic multimedia journalist with a career spanning radio, television, print and online. She has a Master degree in Law from the University of Florence and studied Media Law at University College London (UCL). An experienced reporter and producer, in her 18-year career she has worked for International media including BBC, Aljazeera English, and Euronews, as well as for the main Italian outlets such as RAI, La7, Ilsole24ore, L'Espresso. She has a strong background in Science Journalism having launched wired.it and wired.co.uk in the position of Science Editor and she has been contributing to several scientific publications, including SciDev.net, with her articles and self-shot/edited videos on Science&Technology, Health, and Environment. A creative and original thinker she is committed to delivering factual and engaging pieces that inform a wide range of audience. Giorgia’s International career includes a four years experience as Project Manager for the Doha Film Institute launching the Doha Tribeca Film Festival in the Middle East. She also brings extensive experience as an interpreter and translator, she is fluent in English and Italian and has a basic French.
