About me
UX professional with 8+ years of experience in delivering successful projects for fashion e-commerce, SaaS, and consultancy. My method is a combination of data-driven design and Lean UX (think, make, check). I love translating user needs into interactive designs, with a specific business strategy in mind. My experience goes from digital start-ups to e-Banking, fashion e-Commerce, and emailing. I have worked both as a consultant and in-house expert taking care of user research, interaction design (IA, wireframing, prototyping), and conversion rate optimization. I am also a UX instructor and mentor. Being a teacher gave me the confidence and the ability to lead a group of people through the entire design process, a skill that I took with me when I became a Lead UX. I value the power of mentorship and good teamwork.

As UX Specialist for the YNAP Online Flagship Stores division, I’m responsible for some of our partners stores, among which Moschino, Alexander Wang, Alberta Ferretti, Missoni, Pomellato. My mission is to refine the user experience of each store through data driven design, using analytical tools (heat maps, scroll maps, funnel analysis) and AB testing. In this way every new feature can be validated and the improvement quantified. I also follow the launch of new stores, taking care of the e-commerce strategy, information architecture and structure of the website (complete wireframe of the store). While doing it I always keep in mind our end users and their purchasing behaviour, trying to match it to our partner's needs.

ITS is a 2-year higher degree school for future designers. I taught User Experience for mobile apps during a 10 lessons workshop. Students learned how to turn their concept into an app ready to be developed, going through information architecture, paper prototype, wireframes and user flows, user interface and digital prototyping.

For my master’s degree I had to develop a final project. Since I fell for traditional craftsmanship during my stay in China, I decided to develop a service that could give visibility and value to real craftsmen inside the city of Shanghai: Craftlive. The project included a digital platform to put in contact craftsmen with people interested in their work, and a unique event with workshops and a market. The event actually took place at Jiashan market. Please view the blog I set up at the time for more information: http://chinesecraftproject.weebly.com/
