I believe that there is a strong correlation between the worlds of design, art and fashion. That in order for you to create innovative and lasting ideas you must approach projects with a fluid and artistic mindset, as opposed to a more strategic or business-minded thought process.
My capacity is to understand the essence of the brand and to translate it into pictures. Whilst staying true to my underlying aesthetic ethos, I possess the ability to grasp trends and consistently update my style in a chameleonic manner. In every project, I challenge myself with new techniques and explore the range from bold to minimal. I use graphic design, illustration, set design, photography, but also painting or sculpture if necessary.

Giulia Munari (1987) hails from Modena in Italy. In High School, she first became acquainted with industrial design and developed an intense interest in materials, textures, and the various ways to integrate them.
She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and Art Direction from Accademia di Comunicazione in Milan in 2009. Already while studying she garnered attention from renowned professionals, which led her to work for Lisa Farmer at Process4, and Claudia Neri at Teikna Design Inc.
Upon graduation, she relocated to Germany to launch her career with Meta Design in Berlin and Jung von Matt in Hamburg. After moving back to the german capital (Summer 2010) followed a period of freelance work for various artists and agencies in the fields of advertising, fashion, and music. Her clients have included Arne Eberle Press+Sales as well as fashion advertising agency Diazo and the young berlin brand JMB - Jewelry. Between 2013-2014 she worked as Art Director and Designer for Iphoria and in the year 2015-2016, she was Senior Designer at Monoqi.
Since October 2016, she started her own studio.
Projects
- LTAF Collection by JMB JewelleryImage creation for the collection´s launch and its campaign and design of the invitation, flyer and lookbook. In this project the research for product, fashion, graphic and set design unified harmoniously, presenting her first collection in the best possible light. The outcome was a unique campaign with a strong concept, and a vibrant and modern palette of colours that gained the attention of the German publishing house Gestalten. The project was published in September 2015 in a new book titled ‘The Still Life’.
