I'm a visual storyteller exploring stories of black identity through portraiture and reportage with a keen interest in the arts and creative spaces. Over the last couple of years, I have been successfully scouted by a number of companies. adidas - Chosen for my raw, candid, authentic storytelling approach, I was one of two official photographers for the first ever collaborative partnership in the history of Notting Hill Carnival. Working to a brief, I was entrusted to document the event whilst honouring my artistic vision. Shooting throughout the bank holiday weekend, I captured performances by Ms. Dynamite, Wiley, Stylo G, Donae’o, DJ Cuppy, Jammer and D Double E. Google - I was approached to use an image which I’d shot for a personal project that was featured in a national print and digital Time Out campaign in 2019. VSCO - I was hired for an environmental and location-based shoot with specific brand aesthetics for a workshop in London Artists - I have shot promotional images for a number of Hip-Hop and R&B artists, as well as documented a number of live events including Lovebox, Crxss Platfxrm and European Buck Session. Passion Projects: I am currently working on multiple series that explore identity within the black diaspora, including projects on the dialogue around visibility and representation, culture and heritage, stereotypes and intersectionality. My previous work has brought reportage and krump dancing together, candidly capturing the explosive nature of the movement. As a lover of Hip-Hop music, I was inspired to travel to the birthplace of the genre and dig behind the touristic perspective of New York, 30 years after the release of notable classic albums.
