Say Fromage is a creative studio, focusing on immersive and interactive photographic and video production within the events industry.
Being the first point of contact for all clients was a major part of this role which included discussing individual briefs and understanding the clients requirements, maintaining contact throughout the entire project, updating any changes and negotiations that were required and managing client expectations.
I would create and manage project timelines, write briefs, budget requirements, produce SOWs and negotiate budgets and briefs with partner companies (such as set builders) all of which gave me the opportunity to take control and oversee all major areas of each individual project.
Due to managing and working alongside a small team of project managers, designers and developers I was able to communicate effectively to the team to ensure deadlines were met and client expectations were always taken into consideration.
This also provided me with a platform to enable the input of new ideas and thoughts on proposals and offer up new solutions.
Other responsibilities included raising all POs and invoices, keeping up to date on payments and ensuring all accounts were kept up to date and inline with project budgets.
I was required to maintain client relationships and help the company grow new business with new prospective companies and establish ourselves within the events industry at networking events and functions.
Towards the beginning of this year I challenged myself with taking on the role as office manager which included leading a team of freelance staff (hosts and technicians) to operate and set up all equipment for each event, scheduling shifts and rotas, organising and booking all logistics, briefing all staff on each event and liaising with outsider companies such as additional crew, lighting suppliers and set construction.

My primary role was to build relationships with potential clients and create bookings for photographic shoots and events. Creating, maintaining and growing sales of other services such as lighting hire, Behind The Scenes filming and catering was also a big aspect of the role.
Liaising with the Marketing Manager to aid the marketing of the studio in a manner that increased sales for both photo shoots and events and adapted to market trends.
Other responsibilities included working with the technical manager to make sure the assistants were fully aware of bookings coming into the studio,
maintaining accurate financial and administrative records and ensuring clients completed all relevant contracts prior to hire.
Working alongside the technical manager I ensured the smooth running of the photographic studio and event space. A few responsibilities included daily maintenance of the studio diary, organising all bookings including external services such as catering and equipment hire, and managing the studio assistants. Communicating with clients and creating relationships was an important part of the role and established new business and contacts.
I contributed heavily to the marketing of the studio, building client databases and networking.
Since joining as studio co-ordinator I also took on the responsibility as social media co-ordinator.
