I’m a creative graphic artist currently based in Margate, Kent. So what makes me different? I have had a passion for art and design since childhood and it’s this enthusiasum that has continued throughout my adult life into university and now into my future as a graphic artist. I have worked freelance alongside employment for a number of years, juggling hours and deadlines to develop my knowlege and experience in the industry. As well as visual communication I also create collages, enjoy photography and creative direction. I believe it is this knowledge and application of different fields that helps me create imaginative design and solve briefs successfully and on time.Locked Pro Plan feature
Rebranding MG Plumbing & Heating Services, with an innovative new logo that is recognisable and clear. I wanted the logo to visually represent Mr Gilbert's trade, as well as his name, but also be different from what is out in the market already. I developed the logo to visually represent a radiator, using the graphic shapes of the letter M and G to create a logo that can easily be read as letters but also as an image.
Working with the newly established AMAZONE Fitness, personal Training. The aim was to create a dynamic and recognisable brand, that can be used on business cards, merchandise and online. The client was interested in the use of font, so I created a logo that incorporated the font as well as creating an image that represented "getting in the Zone" and reaching your "targets".
For around a year I created work for my local regular House Music Night, House of Clubs. I have created a unique brand including logo, posters, flyers, web banners and Cards, which have been distributed both in Kent and London based clubs that House of Clubs have played at, such as Ministry of Sound, The EGG LDN, Ramsgate Music Hall and The Waterfront Ramsgate.
I recently worked with Zebredella, a British Company specialising in Bespoke handmade Jewellery. I was asked to redesign their logo for both web and print designs. My client Karen wanted the logo to incorporate a heart, as this had always been part of the brands history and design, but she also wanted it to represent her handmade quality and bead work.
After being recommended by a previous client, I was asked to redesign a new logo and web header for the Kent based specialists in the restoration and replacement for timber windows and doors. Their design needed to be corporate and clear. After the success of the original design I was then further commissioned to create business cards and a Letterhead.
After a recommendation I was approached by Bethany Harvey to create a bespoke identity for her upcoming beauty business. With some initial meetings and brainstorms I was able to create a personal and recognisable brand that Miss Harvey was enthusiastic about and best represented her business.
Throughout the years I have created a multitude of web based designs such as Logos, Revolving Banners and Buttons for DST Ltd's several websites. Drop Ship Traders, sells a multitude of products, such as Cosmetics, gardening, power tools, clothing and care products etc.
I was asked to fully rebrand The Secret Garden with new colour scheme and contemporary logos for both web and print based material. This included revolving online banners and buttons for their three websites. Multiple print design such as stickers, leaflets, posters and business cards. Shop sign design and updating and creating advertising and marketing material for social media and email on a regular basis. I also helped market and improve the florists overall look both online and in store.
