Project Manager & Radio Producer
I manage and coordinate a prison radio project on behalf of the European Social Fund and National Offender Management Service, to create a programme for National Prison Radio that offers rehabilitation and resettlement opportunities.
Part of my role includes facilitating weekly radio workshops across the national prison estate, including young offender institutes, working with approximately 100 offenders per annum.
I develop partnerships with national providers, businesses and charities across the UK, in custody and the community, to create content to feature their projects on the programme.
Combining the content from the workshops and the various projects visited, I produce a weekly hour-long radio programme for National Prison Radio, with an audience of 80,000+ listeners.
I generate participation and marketing opportunities for key stakeholders of the project.
I plan and action different evaluation methods to measure the effect of the project/programme on workshop participants and listeners across the estate.
Voted ‘Project of the Year’ in 2013 by National Prison Radio, Ministry of Justice, Radio Academy and BBC Outreach.
Radio Station ManagerRoundhouse

I programmed and managed the station schedule and mission whilst developing new shows with young emerging artists.
- Managed 60 voluntary independent producers and oversaw 40 shows.
- Developed and facilitated strategies to create opportunities for young members through collaborative partnerships with outside non-profit and commercial organisations.
- Used Content Management Systems (CMS) and Google analytics to update content and monitor usage of Roundhouse website.
- Assisted with outdoor broadcasts and live online audio/video broadcasts from the venue.
- Consulted on the planning, preparation and execution of radio workshops designed to help young people from a variety of backgrounds and skills to develop their radio skills.
