I am a second year student, studying Multimedia Journalism at the University of Essex. I am looking for a placement in where I can develop my skills. I am an ambitious, hardworking and driven student who is able to use my own initiative; I work well under pressure both as a team and independently. I am an energetic person who has developed a mature and responsible approach to any task I can undertake, or situation I am presented with. I am determined and co-operative, which is due to my participation in sport teams. I would like to use my skills to take on new tasks and further responsibilities. My long-term career goal is to become involved with the music aspect of being a journalist. I have always been interested in music writing from a young age due to the excitement and exhilaration of the role. I am fascinated by the musical world as it allows people to stay connected and offers people an escape, a necessity in today’s society.
