I have frequently temped/desk covered at Bauer Media after having gained a position on The Bauer Academy 'Making Creativity Work' course. Having successfully completed the course I was then approached directly to take the role as editorial assistant on a part time basis in Bauer in both Heat and Bella Magazines. The position I held is Editorial Assistant. My roles here include:
• Transcribing interviews using Dictaphone
• Impressed the Editorial Team with my writing that I had a piece of work published in HEAT re 'Love Island Biggest Bust Ups' which quotes me as the writer of that article
• Researching current affairs
• Writing and drafting articles/titles
• Working with Photoshop, Microsoft office and PowerPoint
• Assisting with chasing, ingesting and internal management of assets both digital and physical
• Assistance in production and conversion of material for external media
• Booking cars, meeting rooms etc
• Printing, scanning, photocopying
• Answering external and internal calls and dealing as appropriate
