Primarily the role was to identify new opportunities in the social space, champion these opportunities to marketing teams globally and then to develop and support pilot projects to be trialled in markets.
• Lead on social/digital marketing globally to develop and deliver the social/digital marketing strategy aligned to business objectives • Lead on the development and delivery of all digital and social elements of the groundbreaking Avios Big Reward campaign. https://thebigreward.avios.com/ • Lead on social content marketing, heading up the editorial board and responsible for global content calendar • Development of innovative ‘test and learn’ initiatives to reach audiences in new, timely and relevant ways launching a social gamification platform and championing mobile marketing strategies. • Deliver measurable campaigns both in UK and South Africa, based on evidence and customer insight • Line management and team development. • Strategic consulting on community management and tactical advice for customer engagement team • Management of multiple agencies and complex stakeholder relationships • Development of KPIs and measurement dashboards for digital, innovation and social activity
