About me
Guido Fuà holds an MA in visual anthropology from the University of Rome (La Sapienza) and is a professional photographer since 1988, with 23 years experience. He works in Rome and regularly travels for reportages to Africa, South America, the Caribbean, Asia, the U.S. and Europe. He covers a variety of subjects, including social topics such as ethnic realties in their domestic environment as well in their emigration contexts; music and teenage trends; intense portraits activity of show-biz, culture, finance personalities, as well as common people from every cultural context; interiors and industrial photography.
Guido Fuà is a member of the order of Italian Photojournalists since 1991.
He is founder and director of “Eikona”, a company established in 1996, qualified in producing images for the editorial, corporate and advertising field, by providing the following services: digital photography and HD video-making; web designing, web engineering, social network identity; photo-voice projects; workshop and photography tutorials; consulting and professional assistance about digital archiving and distribution of pictures.
Guido Fuà is professor of advanced techniques of photographic studio lighting at “Officine Fotografiche” in Rome (http://www.officinefotografiche.org/), former professor of editorial portrait at The Roman School of Photography (http://www.scuolaromanadifotografia.it).
