About me
Gvidas Pakarklis is a Lithuanian illustrator and printmaker, currently based in Lithuania. -- He mostly works within editorial and sequential narrative fields. Gvidas draws inspiration from alchemical emblems and ancient art expressions to visually approach modern issues, relating to environmental, technological or social contexts.     The Promise: May Chloris bless YouA written and illustrated comic for a collaborative webcomic platform - 'The Promise', showcasing a variety of students work from Falmouth University. The platform was set up and curated by Hugh Frost. The story of the comic is set in the near future and revolves around the main character - Pierrot.
