Now graduated, I am excited at the prospect of becoming part of a creative team and despite studying Interior Design in university, I have vast experience in a variety of creative roles including surface pattern design, 3D visualisation using CAD, photography, branding and other aspects of design. I trust that I can offer a fresh perspective while also learning a great deal from companies. I maintain that my experience designing wallpapers and fabric patterns would be highly transferable for many surface pattern opportunities, and I am especially excited at the prospect of starting a job where I can express my creativity every day
Projects
- Final Major ProjectMy FMP focused on surface pattern design based on a concept that delved into Traditional Welsh Industries. My heritage is a large section of my identity so I wanted to use this to my advantage in order to create a body of work that showcased that passion. I used a multitude of different medias including digital drawings, oil pastels, colouring pencils and collage to name a few. All the surface designs and visualisations below were hand drawn or designed by myself. I am eager to learn more about

This taught me to work with a client and stick firmly to a brief, while also providing my design advice and opinions. The landlady ended up choosing three different designs

BA (Hons) Interior Design DecorationSolent University (The Institute)
- Southampton, United Kingdom
This course encompasses a number of different possible creative avenues that I was able to explore and develop throughout my three years studying. I learned 3D CAD skills from scratch in addition to developing my 3D drawing further. I also improved my photography skills during the styling units. I was able to express my creativity through the surface pattern ensign aspects of this course and better my hand drawings in conjunction with digital drawings and alterations.
