I look after CU Coventry (CUC), CU Scarborough (CUS) and CU London (CUL) branding and graphic design jobs.
I took most of CUC graphic design jobs off Coventry University Design studio in 2015 to bring it in-house. This allows control, communication with clients to run smoother and faster response time to meet deadlines.
In 2015, CUS only had a logo, and brand style to fall on. It was also more difficult as the main campus was built and completion was July 2016. The brand went through several changes before it started to make an impact.
CU London Launches in September 2017, so we started advertising in mid-2016. The brand followed on from CUS and CUC, to fall under a CU Group umbrella brand.
All design for all campuses fall under me, and make sure that they follow the same style, and communicate using the same language of visual communication. I lead with the Digital Manager to come up with new strategies and campaigns to increase effective performance within the team. By looking after 3 campuses, I have the wealth of experience to effectively understand the client's needs and communicate this vision to reach their targets.
In order to make sure deadlines are met in all campuses, I introduced Asana (online task management system) to the Marketing & Recruitment team to make sure everyone knew what jobs were coming in and out and events that were taking place in the future.
- Internal Communication includes; plasma screens, moodle adverts, internal emails and stationery.
- External Communication; digital adverts, external emails, prospectuses/mini-guides, course material, pull-up banners, website artwork, newspaper adverts, external advertising, social media artwork, promotional items and event items.
- An external photography agency takes our photos, so I will need to direct them the style to keep consistency within all campuses. I also set out a timetable to make sure that the day is used to its full capacity.
