  • Releasing My Band's Next EP
    Releasing My Band's Next EPRecently, my band and I went into the recording studio to create our 2nd EP. We make neo-psych guitar music and are currently in the process of creating artwork and an official music video in preparation for the release.

    I joined Moorgate Communications in July 2018, before it was acquired by FINN Partners, as an Account Executive - working on clients such as UniCredit, Deutsche Bank, Global Credit Data, SNP Global and BPL Global. Broadly, my remit involved conducting interviews with delegates from the business, producing thought-leadership pieces off the back of the conversations, and pitching those pieces to select finance publications. After garnering extensive media coverage for a series of Deutsche Bank white papers and securing notable interviews with UniCredit’s global product heads and members of the top tier press, I was promoted to Account Manager in April 2019.

    I began work with MN2S as a copywriting intern, producing social media and website copy such as artist biographies, and short-form articles. Some of these pieces gave me the opportunity to interview the artists themselves - the most notable of whom was Danny Rampling, one of the founders of the UK's early 80s club scene. After mastering MN2S’ brand language, contributing to the growth of the company’s social following, and building the office’s first content scheduling calendar, I was offered a more permanent writing position. From here my remit broadened, and I began attending weekly meetings with the social media team to share relevant industry news - such as new releases, upcoming gigs, or award ceremonies - and co-ordinate messages across Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and MN2S’ website. In this role I gained experience in producing copy at speed and to strict briefs for the purposes of branding and search engine optimisation.
