Hanna is a multi-disciplinary illustrator based in Cardiff. They create distinctive bold, textural work in illustration, animation and graphic design, with an emphasis on juxtaposed colours and scenarios that often subvert the everyday with the surreal and absurd. Much of this is informed by their experience of the world as a queer neurodivergent person.
Hanna has worked on a range of projects in packaging, merchandise and digital design creating album covers, t shirts, promotional graphics and beer labels. They graduated from Camberwell College of Arts London in July 2022. Their work has been featured in Creative Review, Creative Boom and exhibited at Saatchi & Saatchi London. Their animation about autism and ADHD, ‘Eating Soup with a Fork’, has also been screened at Ghost Show 2022 London, with Animated Women UK and at T Short Animated Film Festival 2023.

- Eating Soup with a ForkA character's subconscious and inner world changes their experience of the outside world. The concepts and events that occur are informed by surrealist automatic techniques and subsequently my own subconscious. These atmospheres and events also depict a neurodivergent experience of the world relating to themes of masking, sensory difficulties, time blindness and the need for familiar environments.
