Since graduating in 2006 with a Graphic Arts degree I have worked inhouse and agency side which has given me a broad spectrum of commercial experience and helps me to plan and prioritise freelance work to meet tight deadlines. I have an exceptional eye for detail and a strong understanding of both digital and print processes to ensure all designs are delivered correctly for single or integrated campaigns. Contracted as the creative artworker for the 500+ page 2017 D&AD Annual book. I laid out copy and carefully selected the best images to showcase the diverse and award winning work from the design and advertising industry across the globe.
Long term contract for a global, fast-paced design team, creating print and digital assets to support STA Travel’s products, partnerships and award winning campaigns. I worked closely with the UK, Australia and USA divisions using Basecamp for project management and feedback. I predominately supported design for huge campaigns where on and offline media was created for each global division. As part or a collaborative effort I played a part in picking up other designers work or designing from scratch layouts for flyers, posters, large scale advertising, store fit outs, email, GDN, web and social assets.
I was responsible for producing catalogue layouts and product packaging at speed using templates, style sheets and image libraries. My role expanded into digital where I built web pages, designed social, web and email assets to go along side weekly campaigns. This was a collaborative role where I worked closely with the Studio Manager, Art Director and copywriters for editorial layouts, marketing managers for press advertising and product developers for catalogue illustrations.
