  • I worked for Target Jobs as an Events Helper at Newcastle University Companies Fairs, working closely in a team to meet sales targets in a busy environment. I was involved in getting students to sign up to the website, which helped to further develop my interpersonal and sales skills.

  • During the 3rd year of my studies I worked in the marketing team at Dr. Oetker gaining real experience in an FMCG office environment for an international company. I had many responsibilities including: • Helping to develop and execute social media and national press campaigns. As part of this, I wrote an advertorial for Dr. Oetker Home Baking which appeared in a recipe magazine published by The Daily Mail which was sold around the UK. • Creating, writing and sending out monthly digital newsletters. • Helping to organise and work at two Cake and Bake trade show exhibitions where I had the opportunity to speak with consumers. • Communicating new products and marketing campaigns internally. • Experiencing and assisting with the product development process. • I was a key member of the team involved in the re-launch of the company website in March 2014. This was a huge task which helped to improve my time management and organisational skills. I was also selected to present the new website to the company and the board of directors at two internal Communication Days, which improved my presentation skills.
