I am motivated by my achievements within the music industry, live events and the career opportunities I have worked relentlessly to gain. My key strengths are creativity, management and organisation, with great attention to detail. I have played integral roles within all the events I have organised, including licensing, brand engagement, sponsorship and creative design. I am now looking to further my career within live events in a challenging role that utilises my coordination, programming, management skills and hard working ethos.
Work history
Operations Manager
My role focussed on Live Industry’s UK operations, managing and ensuring successful results in all areas of the company’s event operations. Projects included The East London Fringe Festival, The London Flower Show, The Dub FX Micro Festival and Afterlight.
• Brand Engagement / Programming - Engaged all of The East London Fringe Festival’s curators and promoters.
• Market Research / Competitor analysis - Identifying clients and sourcing contacts.
• Ticketing and accreditation - Managed ticket allocations across all channels and event day accreditation.
• Branding / Design - Delivered briefs to designers and solely established The East London Fringe Festival’s branding.
• Event Production - Sourced venues, created site plans and engaged suppliers including AV and staging.
• License Applications - Submitted and granted applications in my name as I was the DPS for all events.
• Event Management Plans, Risk Assessments, Noise Management plans, Waste Management -Created and delivered required documents to Council and venue owners.
• Social, digital and physical marketing – Managed the budget for digital spend, including Facebook advertising, Google Ad words, Display Ads and Twitter Advertising.
• Media Partnership / Sponsorship Liaison - I was the point of contact for sponsorship queries and actively sort and secured media partnerships.
• Creative - Designed event flyers, posters and 4sheet artwork.
• Budgeting - Assisted / managed event budgets.
Achievements
• Engaged VICE, Sunday Best Records and Dummy as event curators / programmers for The East Fringe Festival.
• Progressed from entry level to management within 12 months.
• Managed a team of 6.
• Acquired licenses for heavily residential venues.
