have worked on placement at Whitespace (Edinburgh) as the role of junior designer. During this placement, I worked on refreshing the brand of a well-known water company. This entailed a day of quick thinking, ideas being generated to be pitched to the client by the end of the week. During the development of brand ideas, I was allowed to personal art direct a photo shoot that involved experimental photography as the foundation of the refreshed brand. This involved working out of studio with a freelance photographer. I also worked on creating digital content for a Scottish tourist board, this involved following the set style chosen by the client, sticking to the chosen colour schemes and producing something that fitted well with earlier work from other designers on the team. I then helped create the assets for the web designers to use later.
