About me

After completing my degree in Communications and Media (BA Hons), I am currently on a Working Holiday Visa from the UK. I have returned to Sydney after 2 months travelling the East Coast of Australia. I am enthusiastic and hard-working, and always stay positive through any situation. I love to work as part of a team of like-minded individuals who all strive to deliver the best results, no matter the environment. I thrive working in a group environment and enjoy collaborating ideas with others, although I am capable of completing tasks independently. I am looking for a job in Communications, Media and Marketing. I graduated in June from Bournemouth University with a 2:1 in Communications and Media. I spent my time at university being involved in the student-led media, as a contributor, lifestyle editor and editor in chief. This gave my experience in leading a team, meeting deadlines and editing content. I have also maintained a personal blog for over 4 years which I love and would love to turn my passion for writing, travel and content creation into a career. Additionally, I have worked on group projects creating media with a charity (CHECT) for teenagers and have experience as a marketing intern and managing social media for small businesses. This includes using online asset banks, writing press releases and liaising with clients over email and on the phone. Working in hospitality has also taught me valuable lessons in communication and working as a team, and I always strive to produce the best possible customer service and experience. I always look to spread positivity and determination to others I am working with in order to make the work environment as enjoyable as possible, too.
