About me
I am a textile designer/printmaker, designing and making fabrics for homeware and interiors. My fabrics are all handmade through dyeing and screen printing processes. My main inspiration source comes from travel and seeking interest in patterns, my love for colour, and different styles of architecture to create abstract and geometric textile pieces. A lot of my work consists of layering different colours in a quirky and abstract way, creating bold patterns to be put into an interior context. I spend much of my time in the creative print studios to express my passion for hand making and craft.

- 'Architectural Pattern by the Seaside' - University FMP - Hannah GilmourThis was my university final major project - taking inspiration from the beach huts along the south east coast of England, this project explores colour, pattern and texture to create original textile pieces suitable for home interiors.

During my work experience at Imogen Heath Interiors, I was involved with the day to day tasks of preparing fabric orders for clients and sample boxes for showrooms, quality checking new digitally printed fabrics, creating fabric swatches, labelling and colour matching samples, photographing fabrics for Instagram posts, research current and upcoming trends, and source objects for photoshoots.
