- Star Wars at London Fashion Week: ILMxLab, FIA and SteventaiFashion Innovation Agency at London College of Fashion collaborated with ILMxLAB, Lucasfilm’s immersive entertainment division to digitally enhance Steventai’s AW18 presentation for London Fashion Week. Hosted by the GREAT Britain Campaign at the stunning Durbar Court within the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, central London the audience were taken on a digitally augmented journey with LiveCGX. Guests to the show witnessed the global debut of LiveCGX, ILMxLAB’s performance-driven digital augmentation technology, plus the digital transformation of not only the venue itself but also pieces from the collection. At the venue, visitors could see themselves and the models transported on to screens in a Macau street scene, and joining them was a computer generated model, modelling outfits from the collection which changed when she bowed to the crowd. - Rankin x Steven Tai & Changing Faces - Portrait Positive'The fashion industry will be brought face-to-face with its narrow standards of beauty during London Fashion Week, through a unique collaboration between world-renowned photographer Rankin, designer Steven Tai and the charity Changing Faces. The Portrait Positive project, conceived by Stephen Bell, will challenge perceptions of beauty through a series of striking images of sixteen different women with visible facial and bodily differences.
