An ambitious Beauty Buying Assistant with experience in luxury design and development.
Most recently, building a key organisational structure for the design and product development of Liberty London’s first RTW collection. Working across design, buying and merchandising to create a clear and concise handover of the collection - including range-plan updates, presentation, considered design notes and press and mood boards.

Assisting the design director in research, design development, fabric and trim sourcing, managing sketches and building a range plan
Supporting the Head of Product Development and Sourcing in day-to-day tasks- launching prototypes with factories in India and China, creating spec packs and ensuring on time delivery dates for proto and SMS reviews.
Managing and tracking samples
Assisting in developing the first RTW critical path for Liberty London - working closely with the design director, merchandiser and buyer to realise key dates and delivery schedules
Managing design related invoicing - raising PO’s and liaising with the finance team to ensure on time payment and maintaining positive financial relationships with suppliers
Managing design studio budget and spending - filing receipts and invoices and raising all design expenses with finance
Writing fit notes and communicating these with the garment technologist
Creating a detailed range plan with sketches, colourways and key arrival dates - to be handed to merchandising/buying
Creating and defining collection and style names in line with collection themes and communicating these names to the wider team
Trend research for RTW, Swim and Sleep collections
Creating presentations for bespoke briefs and collaborations - working with the head of partnerships
Market research for new categories - compiling this research into detailed presentation for company directors
Managing travel schedule of the design director - including booking flights/ hotels/ arranging travel budget with finance
Working with the creative producer in logistics for RTW photoshoot - including building a styling kit, checking off the collection and sourcing lingerie/ accessories needed for the photoshoot
