About me
I am a highly motivated History graduate who is a fast learner and will never shy away from tasks because they are unknown to me, I have a passion for learning new things. My studies have helped me gain skills in critical reasoning and analysis, including the capacity for solving problems, thinking and writing creatively. I have the capacity to work without direct supervision and manage time and priorities effectively. Both my time at university and my time spent travelling has taught me how to objectively approach problems and new situations with an open mind and an ability to be adaptable. My work experience has been extremely important in helping me thrive in high-pressure, high-stress environments. I have represented my county in three different sports, which is evidence of my hard work and ability to work in a team. Throughout my time at school, I was voted Head of the Student council, which taught me how to lead and manage different types of people and communicate with both my peer group and my superiors. Throughout 2015, I took a career break and I travelled to South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, United States and Canada. This experience greatly improved my confidence in talking and interacting with a diverse group of people. It was also a good practical lesson in organisation and time management.

Working at The Old Windmill has given my invaluable experience as working within a team in a high-pressure environment and has taught me the importance of being able to adapt to different situations. It has taught me how to approach different types of people and communicate effectively with customers and my superiors. Recently, I won the first Employee of the Month Award which shows I am a hard worker and always perform to the best of my abilities.

Working as an Associate Teacher at Maltings Academy helped me to develop and improve a wide range of skills. Organisation and leadership were essential in making sure the pupils were safe and learning to their full potential. Having to work to meet both the children's needs and the needs of other members of staff helped me to become much more adaptable and it greatly improved my communication skills.
