I graduated from Cardiff metropolitan university with a first class bachelors degree and a Masters degree in Textile design and surface pattern. Whilst studying I was nominated for the prestigious Texprint award by my tutors. I have a background in Fine Arts having studied in France in the "Beaux Arts" school of Fine Art followed by a French design course "MANAA".
In terms of creativity, drawing and mark making using; coloured pencils, black pens, and ink are a common feature in my preliminary ideas. My initial ideas often transition into digital pieces, I have experience working with digital media primarily with adobe photoshop and illustrator. Travel has always been a major source of inspiration for my work: Trips to India, China, Morocco, etc have all brought me to new insights, colour diversity, and levels of creativity.
