About me

Hannah Lee is a textiles designer in her final year at the Arts University Bournemouth. Her work blends a passion for print design with a thoughtful exploration of materials to craft tactile surfaces for interior spaces. Combining traditional craftsmanship with innovative techniques, Hannah creates unique pieces characterized by bold graphic shapes and vibrant colour.

• Melodic ImpressionsAn interiors collection for a hospitality context, with a focus on print and hard surfaces. The inspiration for the collection came from my interest in Jazz and Rock music and the venues in which this is enjoyed.
• Innovation : SpaceA collection designed with an emphasis on innovative use of materials and surface. Contextualised into public spaces for children such as libraries and museums.
• Hand and Lock Prize - Traces of TransitionA collection of embroidery and mixed media samples inspired by the history of my Family’s bakery. I used a range of techniques such as CAD embroidery, Irish embroidery and laser cutting to create a contemporary body of work.

Selected to showcase my design work in a curated pop-up exhibition at a department store in Bournemouth town centre and engaged with creative professionals during the opening night.

Gold Arts AwardPipers Corner School
Organised a charity fashion show with a strong focus on sustainability, from concept to execution. Upcycled donated garments into original designs, promoted the event, managed ticket sales, coordinated fittings and rehearsals and collaborated closely with the charity’s local representative to support a meaningful cause.
