    InternCatherine Miran PR
     - Paris, FranceInternship
During my internship at Catherine Miran I was given a variety of roles and responsibilities, from digitally logging samples that were sent out to and returned from a wide range of industry professionals and institutions to answering client emails and inquiries. I was also sent on numerous errands around Paris, to other PR companies and store locations of represented brands. I was stationed in an office adjoining one of the several show rooms housed in the premises, meaning that I also oversaw the upkeep and organisation of it, the presentation of the samples and occasionally I was given the responsibility of showing clients around the collections and making suggestions according to their briefs.

I am currently undertaking a History of Art degree at the University of Bristol. The course involves a high concentration of research, critical analysis of that research and visual analysis of a range of visual cultures. One of the most prominent areas of assessment within the course is academic, analytical writing, which I feel I am very strong. I feel that there are lots of areas in which the history of art and the future of fashion overlap and I believe that this course has taught me valuable skills that I am eager to apply to various aspects of the modern fashion industry.
