Followed my dream of starting my own business for freshly baked bespoke cakes, cupcakes, brownies, sweet treats etc. Big aspirations to open my own bakery and would love to gain experience in working in one. Definitely set high goals to work towards, If you don't set them high then the bar is low and that just isn't for me :)

My passion of being a baker pushed me to pursue my dream of starting my own baking business. I am currently running the business from home however it is part time as I would like to excel in other job prospects. I run this business from online social media and take orders around my schedule so it does not interfere with any other jobs I bring on board. My bakes are made fresh and require a high skill set to produce each one. I have learnt to grow my social media within a small amount of time and understood the importance of marketing a business online by using multiple platforms. I love hearing feedback from customers and always ensure they are happy with what they’ve ordered as well as their experience as a whole.

This was a corporate office based environment where my role was to communicate with the local council and housing association tenants. Housing tenants who have damage in their homes and with the council/housing association who are not providing the necessary help to fix the severe issues after they have been reported multiple times. This was a different job to my previous experience, I learnt how to build relationships and communicate with people directly. I was solely responsible for my cases and learnt how to reassure the client as to what we were doing was enabling them to fix their damage or disrepair issues as well as helping them to receive compensation. I thrived off communicating with multiple people each day and learning the legal aspect of property damage. I developed key skills in communication by phone, email and post in a professional manor. Managing my own caseload and completing cases to a high standard, whilst developing administrative skills.
