I'm Hannah, a photographer and full-on creative being. I work in a vast range of photography, as you may have seen already. I've predominantly worked on fashion editorial, beauty (bridal/commercial) and travel, however, I have also worked on portraits, events, and street style.
Alongside my photography work, I have notable experience in other creative areas including; graphic design, advertising, publishing, and videography. My written articles and features are available to read on my website.
I warmly invite you to explore my portfolio further, take in the vast range of work and be inspired!
Projects
- Pepper Your Talk X Smashbox StudiosI worked with the director/creator of Pepper Your Talk, as part of a 3 month internship, running all decisions and contributing towards creating strategies. I created the weekly Newsletter on MailChimp, planning social media content; while keeping the brand image and tone in mind. Along with reading fashion magazines and websites daily, creating weekly comprehensive lists of article ideas.
- Emily Sarah SmitheramThis campaign was to promote Emily Sarah Smitheram's latest collection of jewellery she has created and highlighting the identity of the pieces. The collection is called 'Dear 2016, The Worst Year of My Life'. Along with this comes with a BTS video (below) of Emily working as she is smoothing down and finishing her work off.

Founder, Editor & Art DirectorVulva Magazine
- United KingdomFreelance
As the founder and editor of Vulva Magazine, I oversaw all aspects of the magazine. From signing off ideas for articles and photoshoots, deciding the paper stock of the physical publication, creating the website and social media; making sure content is accurate and on-brand with Vulva's motto. I dealt with the administrative tasks, ran the schedule of photoshoots and article deadlines, along with arranging, undertaking and writing the interviews for said articles.
I produced all content for the magazine's pages, from fashion editorials to articles, from mood boards and concepts to unique, inspirational photoshoots. Using InDesign, Lightroom, Photoshop and Premiere Pro, I created layouts from scratch to make the images and words fit the page perfectly and tie the whole magazine together. It was a great experience to make this happen and I loved every minute of it, especially collaborating and finding incredible women with their wonderful stories to tell.
Field Communications OfficerFrontier
- Santa Cruz de Tenerife, SpainInternship
As a Field Communications Officer, I was given specific targets to create and produce content for Frontier (The Society for Environmental Exploration) on their social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) and blog; talking about the conservation work being carried out in Tenerife. I also filmed, directed and produced videos to promote the project. I was liaising with the volunteers and field staff on location as well as the journalism and marketing staff at Frontier’s HQ in London.
The content created for the Whale and Dolphin Conservation project was about connecting people around the world to promote what Frontier was doing to preserve the natural habitats of the whales, dolphins and land animals in Tenerife. It was incredibly rewarding to know that I was truly making a difference to the world and it opened up my mind to the dangers of what humans are doing to the planet to cause devastation to animals on land and in the ocean.

Education
Master of ArtsUniversity for the Creative Arts
- United Kingdom
The MA Photography course approaches photography as an expanded visual discipline. As a student I was encouraged to confidently produce complex and extended photographic projects. I have been mentored to engage with experimental and speculative approaches to making creative work with special attention to the dissemination, exhibition and publication of photographic work.
I've taken risks, explored and developed my interest, alongside exchanging, debating and discussing ideas as a collective group of students on this incredibly exciting course. There's a strong emphasis on the course on publication, which extended my skills from my BA, further empowering me to find more creative ways to disseminate my work beyond the academic context and into the public domain.

From image creation, editorial and publications; through to film, photography and event design by launching and curating promotional events I have built a strong business acumen. I bring an enthusiastic and determined approach to creating written content on various digital platforms, whether PR or journalism or be social strategies and virtual communication to help promote brands and clients' needs through innovative concepts and solutions.
