Hannah is a freelance illustrator and surface pattern designer, recently graduated with a 1st Class degree from Leeds College of Art. Designing illustrations for a wide range of mediums including fine art prints, wallpapers and website designs, Hannah is also looking to work within the London area
I work freelance under my own name, to date being commissioned for illustration, wallpapers and stop motion animation.
A one month placement with Skew designing print and pattern for style guides. Working on a variety of high profile clients, I used Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator extensively on art working tasks and print placement design.
I volunteer at the Tetley Gallery leading workshops for families in traditional printing and bookbinding techniques. The Gallery has provided me with extensive training in designing sessions, risk assessments and child protection in the workplace.
I was commissioned by East St Arts to complete a 6 week residency in their collective studios in Leeds, creating a stop-motion animation for display at Leeds Light Night. This was a skill I had never attempted before and can be seen on my website at www.hannahstcaeydesign.com
I worked as a student alongside the Progression Department of my College, delivering workshops to adults and children in screen printing, lino printing, drawing and collage.
I worked in the front of house sales in a bespoke framers during my studies, the role included design of framing and mounting, customer care and service, buying and selling and I was a key holder for the business.
While a student at the College I assisted the Marketing Department at Networking Events, aiding the organisation, setup and front of house roles as well as assisting with phone surveys and research.
I worked for a year as an assistant to an interior designer and business owner of a interior furnishings store as the marketing assistant. Responsibilities included website maintenance and content management, image art working, social media management and newsletter writing and layout.
