In the last five years I have had the unique opportunity to work the breadth of the fashion industry, including top end luxury, wholesale high end fashion and large scale european retail. I have a strong passion for both retail and fashion.
My experiences and expertise include;
Understanding the importance of colour flow and it’s impact on the shop floor and sales.
Working first hand with both luxury and Mass market suppliers both in Europe and Asia, including Lesage embroideries in paris, Indonesian Sonket, Batik and embroidery producers, european fur suppliers.
First hand experience with wholesale, collaborating with store buyers.
Communicating the concept of a collection through presentations, Concept and mood boards
Understanding the whole design process from Sketch, Spec Sheet, fitting and final samples
First hand experience with both 2D and 3D design, through technical drawings and Draping on the stand.
A deep understanding and passion for or the history of fashion as well as the current trends and moods in the fashion and retail market.
Excellent communication skills, working with both internal teams and external free lancers. ensuring creativity remains at the heart of every project, whilst maintaining a cohesive concept.
Passion for the retail experience and customer experience.
First hand experience dealing with the press, conducting interview with TV, Blogs and newspapers
First Hand experience creating and releasing press releases.
