Hello, I’m Harley-Jo. I graduated with a First from Loughborough University in 2019, and have been a designer at McCann ever since.
Fast forward to now, I’ve been super busy (just how I like it). But here are some milestones I’ve reached that you may be interested to know.
My hands-on experience started in 2017 when I took a placement year during uni to work at a graphic design agency. I was then offered a Junior Designer placement at global advertising agency, McCann, while completing my final year of studies. This turned into a full-time role as a Junior Designer, where I co-wrote and art directed a national TVC campaign for Vauxhall within my first year of graduating. I’ve since worked on a range of print and digital campaigns for Vauxhall, VWFS, Jardine, and other high profile clients. I’m also super proud to have had my work selected to be shown at D&AD New Blood in 2019.
My experience working in branding and advertising agencies has given me a deeper understanding on how story-telling and design go hand in hand in making an emotive piece of work.
