I’m a creative with experience focussed within the advertising sphere as a conceptual creative applying both strategic thinking and creative execution to answer briefs and present solutions. I thrive in practical situations and take a proactive approach to work, applying my knowledge of design, photography, illustration, video editing, creative writing as well as experience in basic motion design to solve problems. As a result, I am a confident user of Adobe Creative Suite. I love working within a team and getting involved with all aspects of a job, helping wherever I can to ensure it gets done to the highest level. I’m a passionate individual who is focussed on developing and crafting all elements of my trade, therefore I am always trying to learn new skills to apply to my work. After interning for two weeks my creative partner and I were hired as a Junior Creative Team. We worked on brands such as Eset (an internet security challenger brand), Home Credit Bank, Arm and Hammer and won new business for the agency, seeing our campaign for The Breath Co. go live in Manchester. Additional work included creating content for our social feeds such as Instagram, In particular, I gave Vegetarian Week a go, visualising the benefits with a series of illustrated gifs. After leaving Therapy, I freelanced to help with pitches for new business.
A creative intern team, working on a variety of alcohol brands for Diageo including Talisker, Ciroc, Johnny Walker and Singleton as well as Miller Lite. Focussing on social channels we worked on developing Singletons online presence, challenging whisky conventions. We explored concepts for Secret Cinema in partnership with Johnnie Walker for their showing of Blade Runner. Whilst working on Talisker we wrote content series concepts featuring The Four Oarsmen, to help the brand resonate further with its sailing community.
Creative intern team, working on a range of global and Dutch clients including Under Armour, DHL, Playstation, Expedia, Qatar Airways, Oranje Casino, The Flower Council of Holland and Affligem. I supported the creative output of the agency, providing ideas for a range of briefs, big and small. Larger briefs included Qatar Airways’ response for the 2018 Russia World Cup, as the official airline for the World Cup. My creative partner and I showed promising concepts and reached later stages of the pitch process. Smaller briefs included working on visual infographics to support monthly articles posted on DHL’s official Twitter page.
