Venture Marketing Group organizes and markets high quality exhibitions and events alongside online marketing solutions and publications within graduate, engineering and franchise recruitment, B2B and people development sectors to generate leads for clients. The main priority and responsibility of the role was to manage and deliver the external email marketing campaigns across five accounts of the business portfolio. I have successfully delivered over 900 email campaigns on time with recipient lists ranging from 9,000 - 103,000 contacts. The account and client management involved advising on the campaign strategy, content, design and creative, ensuring due diligence and providing campaign performance reports. Other main responsibilities lied with the daily content management of the websites. Duties included liaising with clients, updating content, liaising with technical staff to provide solutions to any issues and working on developments to the sites. Participation in weekly project meetings with the accounts and monthly meetings with the digital agency aided optimization and developments across the online portfolio. Strategy and performance discussions included driving traffic, leads and registrations and analysis of PPC, SEO and content. Project meetings facilitated fluidity between marketing and sales and progression of the accounts. Finally, I contributed heavily towards the development of a new website to be launched in October. Brands worked with include: McDonalds, Subway, CeX, Anytime Fitness, Bet365, Betfair, TK Maxx and Uniqlo. Key software utilized: Adobe Photoshop, dotmailer, Dreamweaver, Google Analytics, TweetDeck and SEO Monitor.
Working on a short-term project to inform, advise and consult regarding recruitment activities in the Oil and Gas industry. The main deliverable of the project was to produce an informative document explaining the different sectors and disciplines involved throughout the industry. This also included information of different businesses, market trends, areas of growth and resourcing tools. Suggested business model and team structures were also apart of this project.

The Offshore Design and Project Development desk was my responsibility to maintain and develop and most importantly, place candidates in jobs. I gained specialist knowledge of the offshore market, in particular Naval Architecture and Structural Engineering of offshore structures. I successfully developed relationships with new clients as well as ensuring relationships with existing clients were preserved. Daily duties included client visits, candidate registration, marketing such as writing eshots, advertisements for newspapers and websites. Utilization of the internal system, networking, job boards, professional networking sites, referrals and ‘headhunting’ were key sources of candidate generation.
