Cardboard Collective is a creative programme for young people affected by poverty, homelessness and inequality. The programme engages and inspires participants through music workshops with industry professionals to assist them in creating music and producing live music events.
As the Cardboard Collective Associate I lead on the pastoral care and wellbeing of the young people on the programme. I utilise my experience both from working with people who are experiencing homelessness and in event production and management. I am also able to engage with the artists and young people with the music production side of the programme as I am a DJ and electronic music producer.

Project Management and Development
● Oversee both the core and wider team of organisers, comprising of 100+ freelance
creatives, access workers and event staff.
● Manage all aspects of budgeting, accounts management, and income projection.
● Led on developing the project from a concept into a CIC, formalising our activities to
be compliant with statutory regulations.
Event Management and Coordination
● Lead on all pre-event administration, including risk assessments, staffing, advancing,
programming, scheduling, and artist liaison.
● Simultaneously manage hybrid online and in-person events to audiences of over
1000, while ensuring that access services available to those who need them.
Communication and Media
● Responsible for administration, email correspondence, website design, mailing list,
ticket sites, event copy, promotion, and all messaging.
● Established our online identity and brand, while managing our social media accounts
with 30k+ followers to ensure our audience remain engaged with our activities.
● Creative oversight of all aspects of the party, including content creation, artist
bookings, writing content briefs for our artists, booking photographers and
videographers, and managing the creative team.
