About me

I'm a freelance creative working predominantly in music and journalism. As a composer I have produced music for award winning podcasts including Sentimental Garbage and the Spotify original GIANT, winner of Best Sports Podcast at the British Podcast Awards 2021. I have also composed for brands including Netflix, adidas, Size? and Vitality, and am also working on my first full length musical, in development with RJG Productions. As a guitarist and songwriter principally, I have an innate understanding of melody and storytelling through music, but am also able to work across a number of different briefs, and really enjoy the challenge that comes with composing bespoke audio identities for podcasts, adverts and social campaigns. As a writer I have worked for The Big Issue, Mundial, FourFourTwo, The Guardian, VICE, and many others. I am also a regular contributor to arts and culture YouTube channel The Take (1m+ subscribers), so have experience writing scripts, and have also worked as a copywriter for brands including Friends Of The Earth, Pact Coffee, Into Film, Holdbreaker, and others.   The Ballad Of Ronnie Radford - music video / documentaryA short documentary to act as a music video for my song The Ballad of Ronnie Radford. Ronnie scored probably the most famous FA Cup goal in history, and we wanted to tell the wider story — how one moment can impact a whole life. A passion project, one I'm very proud of.
