About me
I am currently senior designer at ‘Cosmopolitan’ magazine where I have worked for almost two years. Prior to that I was working for two years at ‘Women’s Health’ magazine where I won the PPA ‘New Designer of the year’ award. My other experiences include branding and packaging through freelance and placements outlined in my CV.

In my role at Cosmopolitan I am responsible for conceptualising ideas at the beginning of each issue to then developing them with my team. I handle many different commissions on a daily basis in the form of photographers, Illustrators and 3D artists, where I oversee the entire process through to completion, providing feedback and art direction. I am present on many of the photography shoots and have built up a relationship with different photographers over the years. Being the senior designer on the team, I supervise our junior designer and various freelance designers where I actively encourage their development and critical thinking. My skill set includes proficiency with Indesign, which I use everyday for the publication, plus an extensive knowledge of Photoshop. As well as conceptualising unique creative ideas I am able to find the means of producing them to a high standard and often restricted budget. I am also an experienced freelance illustrator where my work has been featured several times in the magazine.
