About me

Lucid Representation Ltd: Lucid Representation was founded in 2007. We represent award-winning and charming photographers both in the UK and abroad. Our photographers specialise in food, still life, travel, interiors, lifestyle, kids and portraiture, with many of them working in both moving and still image. Hat Margolies, the company director worked in editorial publishing for over 10 years before setting up Lucid Representation. Other members of the team have worked as art buyers, agents, producers and photographers so we know all aspects of the photographic business. We love to make shoots easy, fun and effective for all our clients, who include UK and global advertising, design and editorial companies. Always happy to take on all aspects of photographic production - we have a great team of trusted collaborators and pride ourselves on helping to turn brilliant creative ideas into reality. We can provide a full team for a shoot, or just the photographer - whatever suits the client best. We are skilled at dealing with large budgets and complex schedules, ensuring that all parts of a project are completed on time and to the highest quality and within budget. We use green and eco friendly processes when we can including cargo bikes instead of vans or taxis, keeping printing call sheets to a minimum and supplying boxed water instead of plastic bottles on set are some of the ways we make our shoots have a lighter carbon footprint. At every point in a job; from brainstorming of initial ideas all the way through to the finished campaign, we use our experience and expertise to ensure everyone has a good time while producing great work. Many of our clients are repeat customers and have been working with us for many years.
