About me
I am a twenty-two-year-old Playwright, Dramaturg, and Script Reader (Currently reading at The Finborough Theatre London) who studied at Warwick University (achieving a first class honours) before embarking on a Masters at Goldsmiths University in Dramaturgy and Writing for Performance. I would love the opportunity to expand my knowledge of the working world of theatre and creative industries. I am an extremely friendly, personable and determined individual, who loves working with new people and in fast-paced environments.
Projects
- Work in Progress: New-Writing Festival October 2017Five talented colleages and I have come together to create a new-writing collective: BERG. This is a work in progess logo design. The Festival is due to take place in October. I will be show-casing my full length play Fissure, whilst also performing in my colleagues' work.
- Show-Case of New-Writing at Soho Theatre, LondonI assisted in the creation of my Masters show-case (two-days of twenty minute extracts from full-length plays) at Soho theatre. My full length piece Fissure, was show-cased to the general public and industry professionals. I was first point of call for liaising with the technical team at Soho, ensuring all needs for performances, and the set-up of the venue, were met. It was also my duty to ensure the smooth running of the show-case days, acting as Front of House. As images below show, I was also in charge of the media presence for the show-case, ensuring that the public were reminded and informed about the event.
