About me
I am an ambitious, determined and adventurous young professional. In 2017 I graduated from the University of Sheffield with a degree in International Business Management (with Study Abroad). Over the past year I have worked at an international level as a Marketing Executive for a high profile organisation, HH Global, where I researched, wrote and delivered informed content through a range of channels to leaders and decision makers in some of the UK's leading retail brands. At HH Global I collaborated with colleagues across the globe, putting my studies to the test and enhancing my business skills across the board, while also developing my hands-on media experience. My achievements included successfully delivering significant communication projects – from managing websites to writing, managing and publishing a quarterly innovation publication and helping the company win a number of awards. I travelled to our sister offices in the UK and abroad and also had an active role on the office Social Committee. Outside of work I have an untamed love of travel. I have recently returned from a three month road trip across the United States. Whilst at University I spent a year abroad studying at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. After my year studying abroad I challenged myself to travel back to the UK overland - a 12-week journey by bus and train across China, Mongolia, Russia and Eastern Europe. My travels, experience of working in a global company and time studying abroad have allowed me to gain some invaluable experiences. I have developed my business knowledge on a global scale and experienced first hand a multitude of cultures, working cultures and lifestyles.

I joined HH Global as a Marketing Executive a few days after my last university exam in July 2017. I was fortunate enough to enter a work place that allowed me to develop a number of different skills and explore numerous positions within the work force. Within my first few months I had created a new Dutch language website and had the opportunity to visit the HH Global Netherlands office and the PostNL office to help create a marketing strategy during a time of major development. My tasks at HH Global included but were not limited to: website development, content creation, internal communications and business development - assisting with bids and tenders for key client opportunities. I also created marketing publications, including a quarterly 25-30 page trend guide “Retail Trends” which I managed from writing and design to the final publication. The guide investigated the latest innovation trends in numerous market sectors and was distributed to all key clients, including Google and Samsung. My tasks further included entering awards and managing the entry and attendance process. During my time we won a number of high calibre awards including the Amazon Growing Business Awards and the POPAI Awards which I entered on behalf of The Post Office. I worked closely with the Offshore Team in India to help up-skill the team through training and task sharing. I helped manage work loads through sharing initial research for a number of my projects and proofreading their initial work. I also trained the team in an array of marketing platforms in-order to delegate tasks. During my final few months at HH Global I was asked to incorporate a number of Office Management roles into my marketing tasks. These additional tasks included orchestrating the Social and Site Committee meetings, managing day-to-day office needs and monitoring office safety to ensure that we remain aligned to the International Organisation for Standardisations’s regulations.

     - Hong Kong
As part of my degree, I spent my second year studying in Hong Kong. Gaining a placement was extremely competitive and I was the only student from the Management School selected to go. The experience was incredibly valuable. I gained an understanding of Asian business culture and I was exposed to the local lifestyle and met many influential and inspiring people along the way. I also studied basic level Mandarin.
