About me

Hi there. I'm Hayley. A creative thinker and people person with a background in graphic design, creating meaningful and user centric content is what I do best. I’m a cocktail drinking, cheese loving, Yorkshire lass and all round awesome roller derby girl. As well as working for in house design teams, I've freelanced as a designer whose clients include First Direct and HSBC. I really enjoy getting under the skin of a brand, or audience transforming their values and needs into tailored visuals and messages. In my spare time, I assist in running ‘Chicks in Bowls Yorkshire’, a movement which encourages and inspires women to venture into skate parks on roller skates, through social media and events.

In my current role I am part of an in-house design studio, responsible for supporting all areas of the University with campaign and marketing materials. One of our largest areas of work is in student recruitment, producing a range of assets across print and digital with the aim of attracting potential students to study at Leeds Beckett. The challenge is to provide all the information students require to make an informed decision in an engaging way, that will differentiate us from other universities each year.
