DSGNLAB is an aspiring multidisciplinary creative agency from respected brand communications specialist, Visual Thinking. The agency creates bold confidently crafted work for clients in a range of sectors as well as providing design services for Visual Thinking. During my time at DSGNLAB I worked with the design team, assisting with creating designs and concepts for both internal and external clients. I also researched and began developing a series future self initiated work for the design team.
Short term position at GLA working with the Health and Communities unit to design and produce a document summarising what the unit do and what their plans are for the future. The document featured a series of infographics about the city of London and formed a solid visual language to represent the many teams which form the Health and Communities Unit.
Initially a three month internship extended to a freelance position. Working with the lead graphic designer, I assisted with art working and designing for a range of exhibitions based in the arts and culture industry. Examples include Alice In Wonderland (Nov 2015) exhibition at The British Library and Chester’s Fort (March 2016) for English Heritage.
A four week placement at The Partners to gain more experience in a working design studio. I assisted with forming a pitch presentation by helping to source and produce visuals and developing ideas in response to the brief.
Lead graphic designer for a campaign aimed to showcase student achievements and associated skills, with a view to raising aspirations and building confidence amongst students on campus.
Awarded First class honors degree in Graphic Design.
