Hi. I'm Heidi Hinda and I run 'The Creative Genius'. Pleased to meet you :-)
I am a Creative Life Coach and Storyteller, based in Manchester, UK.
With the Creative Life Coaching, I specialise in the following areas: Creativity & Mental Health (‘The Genius of your Madness’), Women & Perimenopause (‘Midwifing your Midlife’); and the link between Sexuality & Creativity (‘The Erotic Key’). The foundations of my coaching are about understanding what is vital to us, what makes us feel alive, what we value, and why. It’s all about how to live a juicy and full life, and the potency of living from a deep sense of well-being, alignment and freedom.
I bring a deep playfulness and humour to my work, such as, reframing limiting beliefs as superpowers, and allowing ourselves to be vividly and wildly imperfect. Having a clear voice and telling our stories is the crucial underpinning to what I offer. This empowers us and deepens our place of responsibility and accountability in the world.
I also offer Creative Coaching Toolkits for writers, artists, entrepreneurs and creative businesses.
Over the last few years, I have been deepening my learning around trauma, education, neuroscience, resilience and resourcing the nervous system, and bring these tools into all of my practices.
I have been writing for over 15 years, about life, love, sex, relationships, soul, creativity, and arts & culture. I have been published in various online and paper publications. I would describe myself as a storyteller, and I am curious about the world and what it means to be human. This year I have been writing a series for Elephant Journal called ‘An A to Z Guide To Being Human’.

Alongside these personal essays, I write short stories, novels and spoken word. I have been creating and writing courses for teaching, facilitation, and coaching for over 20 years. I offer my services as a writing coach and mentor, a content and course creator, copy editor, and creative consultant. I am open to all work and projects that catch that spark of curiosity about human nature, well-being and personal growth.
