I am currently in my final year of study at The University of Leeds, completing an undergraduate degree in Linguistics & Phonetics. As cliché as it sounds I have a particular interest in fashion, electronic music and Interiors. Combining my passion for these interests and utilising my knowledge to curate, analyse and articulate I have worked as a copywriter for the last year and a half having worked in Amsterdam for 1 year. My current role is working freelance for a company called Spaces. I curate content for the community section of their website.

My time at Spaces was very enjoyable and quite demanding. Due to university requirements I had to accept a full time role as an internship, but the job requirements were exactly the same as a full time role.
At Spaces I worked with Wordpress and was responsible for the upkeep and upload of new global locations online. As time went on I was able to refine my editorial skills and created a multitude of marketing campaigns (Pardot) as well as writing regular content for our community magazine.
Spaces has a unique twist on the real estate market and combines lifestyle with work, having a huge focus on design. This allowed me to further my interest and appreciation for design, whilst strengthening my creativity.
Having returned to the UK for my studies, I have since been employed again to work freelance as a copywriter for the company.

I am currently working on my dissertation which requires me to have a thorough knowledge of the English grammar and its syntax. I have programmed my own experiment to gain an understanding as to why different people use different constructions.
The general focus of my study is how language exists and how language is processed in the brain, so I have a good understanding of science, as well as writing. I am required to be very analytical, as well as articulating my beliefs to a high level.
